The Building Safety Division coordinates all facets of building plan review and the subsequent inspection process during construction (both residential and commercial) to ensure code conformance in the interest of public health, safety, and welfare.
The Code Compliance Division aims to promote, protect, and improve the health, safety, and welfare of Cochise County residents and business owners through education and voluntary compliance with the County’s zoning regulations.
The Planning and Zoning Division is responsible for long and short-range planning in the unincorporated areas of Cochise County. In order to do so, this Division oversees the administration of all Cochise County land use regulations, which includes the County's Zoning and Subdivision Regulations.
